As the storm swept through sunny San Diego and displayed a sense of winter, I headed to the beach to capture a photo. The beach was flooded from the high swell. The clouds covered the entire sky and released a storm of harsh rain. I waited patiently under a straw hut for a break in the storm. Then after getting completely drenched in rain, I got a quick break from the Universe. A break in the clouds had opened up and allowed the sun to finally shine through and down to the water. The storm was passing by right in front of my eyes. Just as the sun was setting, the clouds rolled past the beach and headed inland. The colors of the sky instantly became vibrant. A truly remarkable scene to witness at a California beach.
