Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, the historic gothic cathedral of Paris. The cathedral's history is dark and well known amongst the world. Sadly this photo was taken weeks before its devistating fire in 2019. The beautiful architecture of the church was like no other cathedrals. The gothic style had fine details in the faces of the guarding gargoyles, and the craftmanship and artistry of the inside was unbelievable. The church displayed a sense of faith for many, and also an image of evil for others. The original architecture of the church is no longer around, but the cathedral still stands in Paris. It may never be exactly the same again, but thankfully we can look back at photographs such as this one.
