At the stroke of midnight, a car came to pick us up. We were on our way to climb the mighty Mount Batur in Bali, Indonesia for sunrise. It was about a four hour drive to the base of the mountain. Followed by a strenous five mile climb to the peak of the volcano for sunrise. With little sleep from the night before, we set off on a journey to never that would never be forgotten. While climbing to the top, the views were spectacular. Watching the sunrise over the volcano, Mount Agung was something truly special. An incredible view and an energetic burst of life set in. This was a good morning that I will never forget, to be surrounded by volcanoes, and the sight of such beauty helped to realize how beautiful life is. Indonesia will always hold a place in my heart, this sunrise was one of my favorites to have ever witness in life. This photograph is a memory of that morning's sunrise, and a glimpse of how amazing the country of Indonesia is.
